This painting was really a workout capturing the mood of the day with the sun shinning, clouds darkening vanishing points and all that is going on was a real brain twister for me. I was heading into New Mexico when I pulled of the road grabbing my camera and taking one shot as it started to rain. Back in my car I continued into Santa Fe and dinner. I do love the weather condition's that take place in the deserts, you can see storms coming from what seems to be hundreds of miles away. This is one of my paintings in Chemers Gallery.
