This 48x40 inch oil 0n canvas was of a trip back form Santa Fe. I was just coming out of Flagstaff on I-17 heading south. As I came over this one hill, the valley below opened up to this view, so I picked my camera up and took one shot and new, "Here's my next painting". (SOLD)

This painting was a challenge to get the blending of the blue.. First off, there it took (6) six different colors to make that blue, three blues and two cad's and a secret dry pigment that I use and that's the one that really turns the color that knocks me out...
